I believe...

i wrote a poem today in my seventh hour, that i put to music, so now it's stuck in my head. here:

i believe in fairy tales;
pumpkins turning into coaches.
i believe in mermaids with crowns
wishing for a soul.

i believe in dreaming for a hundred years
woken by a golden kiss.
i believe in tresses of ebony,
lips of blood, and skin, snow white.

i believe in happily-ever-after.
i believe in once-upon-a-time.
i believe in dancing unperturbed,
and midsummer night's dreams that rhyme.

i believe in waltzing after midnight.
i believe in staying with prince charming,
waiting for the dress of white.
i believe in glass slippers, twinkling bright.

i believe in my own prince charming.
i'm a princess, daughter of God.
i believe in dancing,
dancing to Him, above.
